VALVE-CHECK 7T9793 - Caterpillar

Note: Cleanliness is an important factor. Before assembly, all parts should be thoroughly cleaned in cleaning fluid. Allow the parts to air dry. Wiping cloths or rags should not be used to dry parts. Lint may be deposited on the parts which may cause later trouble. Inspect all parts. If any parts are worn or damaged, use new parts for replacement.

Lubricate seal (3) with the lubricant that is being sealed. Use Tooling (B) to install seal (3) .
Use a suitable lifting device to support Tooling (C) . The weight of Tooling (C) is approximately 27 kg (60 lb). Use Tooling (C) to install bearing (2) . The bearings should be installed to a depth of 7.5 0.5 mm (0.30 0.02 inch).
Lubricate seal (1) with the lubricant that is being sealed. Use Tooling (B) to install seal (1) .
Repeat Steps 1 through 3 for the bearings and seals on the opposite side of boom (4) .
Install the stick. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Stick - Install".Installation Procedure

Lubricate seal (1) with the lubricant that is being sealed. Use Tooling (B) to install seal (1) .
Repeat Steps 1 through 3 for the bearings and seals on the opposite side of boom (4) .
Install the boom. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Boom - Install".
