VALVE GP-PITCH RELIEF 8J5800 - Caterpillar

1. Remove lower windshield wiper (1). 2. Open side access door.3. Put identification marks on eight hose assemblies (2) for installation purposes. Remove eight hoses assemblies (2) from underside of cab. Cap and plug lines to avoid fluid spillage. 4. Put identification marks on six hose assemblies (3) for installation purposes. Remove six hose assemblies (3) from underside of cab. Cap and plug lines to avoid fluid spillage. 5. Put identification marks on eleven hose assemblies (4) for installation purposes. Remove eleven hose assemblies (4) from valve on the underside of cab. Cap and plug lines to avoid fluid spillage. 6. Remove two hoses (5) and two heater hoses (6) from underside of cab. Cap and plug lines to avoid fluid spillage.7. Disconnect six electrical connectors (7) on underside of cab. 8. Fasten four 6V-2157 link brackets and four straps to top of cab (8) as shown. 9. Disconnect two lines (9) from air conditioning accumulator (10).10. Remove four bolts (11) that connect cab riser to cab.11. Carefully remove the cab from the machine. The weight of the cab is 295kg (650 lb).Install Cab
1. Carefully put the cab (8) in position on cab riser as shown. 2. Install four bolts (11) that connect cab to cab riser.3. Connect two hoses (9) to air conditioning accumulator (10). 4. Connect six electrical connectors (7).5. Connect two heater hoses (6) and two hose assemblies (5) to underside of cab. 6. Connect eleven hose assemblies (4) to valve on the underside of the cab. 7. Connect six hose assemblies (3) on the underside of the cab. 8. Connect eight hose assemblies (2) on the underside of the cab. 9. Install lower windshield wiper assembly (1).
