Install the steering frame lock. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Steering Frame Lock - Remove and Install".

Remove shoulder pad (1).
Remove the arm rest and cover (2).

Remove spring (3), bolt (4), handle (5), and key (6).

Remove handle (9), five bolts (7), latch (8), and shim(s) (10) (if installed).Note: Zero shims or multiple shims may be installed.

Remove bolt (13), washer (14), set screw (17), and plate (18) from striker (15).
Remove screw (12), striker (15), and spring (16) from mount (11).Installation Procedure

Apply oil lubricate to striker (15) prior to installation.
Install spring (16) and striker (15) to Mount (11).
Apply Tooling (A) and then apply Tooling (B) to the threads of bolt (13) prior to installation.
Install bolt (13), washer (14), set screw (17), and plate (18) to striker (15). Tighten bolt (13) to a torque of 105 20 N m (77 15 lb ft).Note: Ensure plate (18) is installed parallel to Mount (11).
Fill the spring cavity with 10 mL (0.35 oz) of oil lubricant, and install screw (12).

Install latch (8), shim(s) (10), and five bolts (7).Note: Remove or install extra shims (10) as required to obtain a suitable door to cab seal.
Install handle (9).

Install key (6), handle (5), bolt (4), and spring (3).
Lubricate the cab door latch. Refer to "Operation and Maintenance Manual" , Cab Door Latch - Lubricate.
Check cab door latch overlap. Refer to "Operation and Maintenance Manual" , Cab Door Latch - Inspect.

Install cover (2) and the arm rest.
