VALVE GP-CHECK 8U7222 - Caterpillar

The new 6U6596 Torsion Spring (used on all machines except the D44 and D550 models) and 6U6649 Torsion Spring (used on the D44 and D550 models only) are service replacements for the former 5U7792 and 5U8908 Torsion Springs, respectively. When a new spring is required to replace a former spring, OR a new mandrel is required to replace a former mandrel, a new spring AND new mandrel must be ordered together and gearshift lever assembly must be modified by drilling as detailed. The new 6U6650 Mandrel replaces the former 5U7894 Mandrel.
