1     443-6656     Check Valve    Perform one of the following procedures for the installation of the check valves depending on the type of fuel return line connection type. Table 1 contains the part numbers needed for this change. Some parts listed in Table 1 may not be needed if the parts were previously installed.Note: Ensure that health and safety requirements are adhered to at all times.Procedure for Fuel Return Lines Using 37 Degree Flared Connection

(1) 214-7568 O-Ring Seal (2) 447-1817 Check Valve (3) 6K-9194 Flared Elbow (4) 327-4448 Check Valve Gp Note: Use the 6K-9194 Flared Elbow with 9/16 inch fuel line threads and the 112-4387 Flared Elbow with 3/4 inch fuel line threads.
If previously installed, remove the 233-6742 Check Valve Gp and replace with check valve group (4). Torque the check valve to 28 3 N m (21 2 lb ft).
Install check valve (2) at the fuel return port of the secondary fuel filter. Install o-ring seal (1) on the straight thread end of check valve (2). Install elbow (3) to check valve (2). Refer to Illustration 1 for location.
