Reports have been received that the 4W-5733 Valve Adapter and the 4W-5719 Adapter As will fail and separate into two pieces. This separation is due to a suspect weld process from the supplier. Remanufactured cylinder heads and long block assemblies contain these parts. The following remanufactured part numbers are affected by this problem: 0R-4131 Cylinder Head Gp , 0R-4141 Cylinder Head Gp , 0R-4145 Cylinder Head Gp , 0R-4128 Cylinder Head Gp , 0R-4130 Cylinder Head Gp , 0R-4138 Cylinder Head Gp , 0R-3673 Cylinder Head Gp , 0R-3718 Cylinder Head Gp , 0R-4275 Long Cylinder Block , 0R-4277 Cylinder Block Gp and 0R-3711 Cylinder Block Gp .Solution
All dealer and customer inventory of the 4W-5733 Valve Adapter and the 4W-5719 Adapter As must be inspected. This inspection will ensure that the weld process from the supplier was completed. Cylinder heads and long block assemblies with a date code after "032 12" have adapters with the correct weld process completed. These adapters do not require inspection.
