Start By:a. remove water spray pump 1. Remove four bolts (2) to separate the hydraulic motor (1) from the water pump (5).2. Remove coupler (3).3. Remove four bolts (4) from the water pump (5). 4. Remove lock nut and washer (7) from the impeller (8) mounting frame (6). To remove the nut, it is necessary to block the impeller (8) or hold the opposite end of the shaft with a screwdriver The plastic impeller can be damaged by excess torque. 5. Using a brass punch, press the shaft out of the mounting frame.6. Remove the impeller (8) and key.7. Remove the rotating seal member located on the shaft immediately behind the impeller (not shown). 8. Remove stationary seal member (9) by prying or pressing. An internal snap ring is located in the bore behind the stationary seal member and may be removed or replaced as necessary 9. Remove two snap rings (10).10. Press bearings (12) off of the shaft. Spacer (11) will slide off with little effort. For assembly of the water pump, reverse the disassembly steps.Disassemble and Assemble Water Spray Pump Motor
1. Remove drive plate snap ring (1). 2. Remove two bolts (2) and separate the motor (3) into three pieces. If necessary, remove check valve bolt, spring, and ball. Inspect and replace as necessary. 3. Remove washer (4), seal (5), and spacer (6).4. Remove the driven gear (7). Remove the drive gear (8) and key (9). The three sections of the motor are separated by two O-rings. Inspect rings and ring grooves before reassembly. 5. Remove snap ring (11), bearing (12), shaft (13), and seal (14). Inspect bearing, seal and shaft for wear or damage and replace if necessary. To assemble the motor, reverse the disassembly instructions. Be careful not to overtighten the motor assembly bolts. Fill the cavity around the coupling with grease before assembling the motor and pump.
