When reporting the repair, use "PI30074" as the Part number and "7751" as the Group Number, "56" as the Warranty Claim Description Code and "T" as the SIMS Description Code. Exception: If the repair is done after failure, use "PI30074" as the Part Number, "7751" as the Group Number, "96" as the Warranty Claim Description Code, and "Z" as the SIMS Description Code.

An improved deflection curtain needs to be installed to protect the rear hood on certain Lexion 450, Lexion 460, and Lexion 465 Combines. The improved curtain will protect the rear hood from damage due to corn cobs striking it.

Rework Procedure
1799991 Kit and 1946685 Kit Consisting of:
- Remove bolt (A) and lever (B). - Open rear hood and disassemble corn deflector plate (C). - To do so remove the five fixing bolts of support (D) on both sides of machine.Tube (similar as shown)
- Install new pre-assembled corn deflector plate (2) to machine. Reinstall the five bolts (E) on both sides of machine (use new hex. Nut M8 (10) and contact washers A8 (8) ).- Centralize tube (F) and tighten bolt (G) on both sides afterwards. - Install canvas (1) and bolt tube (13) to angle iron (H) using two hex. bolts M8 x 40 (7), contact washer A8 (8), and hex. Nut VM8 (9). - Remove bolts (I). Replace plate with lever (J) by support plate (3). Old bolts to be used again.
