Removal Procedure
Start By:
Separate the front frame and the rear frame. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Front Frame and Rear Frame - Separate".Note: Cleanliness is an important factor. Before you begin the disassembly procedure, the exterior of the components should be thoroughly cleaned. This will help to prevent dirt from entering the internal mechanism. Precision components can be damaged by contaminants or by dirt. Perform disassembly procedures on a clean work surface. Keep components covered and protected at all times.

Attach a suitable lifting device to articulating and oscillating hitch (1). The weight of articulating and oscillating hitch (1) is approximately 29 kg (65 lb). Remove articulating and oscillating hitch (1) and remove the suitable lifting device.
Remove bolt (2) and washer (3) .

Note: For aid of assembly, note the direction of belleville spring (4) .
Remove belleville spring (4) from washer (3) .

Remove bearing cone (5) and lip seal (6) .
Remove bolts (7) and shaft assembly (8) .
