Hold all 1678720/">167-8720 Low Precistion GPS Antennas for 30 days for a possible Parts Return Request (PRR) through the Send-It-Back process. Make sure to list the service letter program number on the packing slip and include the closed work order paperwork. If a Parts Return Request (PRR) is not issued to you after 30 days through the Send-It-Back process, handle the parts in accordance with your warranty bulletin on warranty parts handling.

Rework Procedure
Remove and Replace 1678720/">167-8720 LPGPS Antenna
1. Disconnect the 343-8458 cable from the 1678720/">167-8720.
2. Remove the nut and metal washer from the 1678720/">167-8720 Antenna. See image 1.1.1
3. Remove the antenna.
4. Install the replacement 1678720/">167-8720 Antenna.
5. Apply metal washer and install the nut. Tighten to 20+/-2 ft/lbs.
6. Connect the 343-8458 cable. Tighten to 10+/-1 inch/lbs. See image 1.1.2
Do not over tighten the connector of the 343-8458 cable.
