A     4C-8359     Eyebolt     1    Note: Cleanliness is an important factor. Before assembly, all parts should be thoroughly cleaned in cleaning fluid. Allow the parts to air dry. Wiping cloths or rags should not be used to dry parts. Lint may be deposited on the parts which may cause later trouble. Inspect all parts. If any parts are worn or damaged, use new parts for replacement.

Install the O-ring seals on the torque converter housing. Put clean oil on the O-ring seals.
Put the torque converter in position under the machine. Fasten Tooling (A) and a suitable lifting device to torque converter (10) .
Position torque converter (10) on the flywheel housing. Install bolts (9). The brackets must be in the correct position when the bolts are installed.

Connect hoses (7) and (8) to the torque converter housing.

Connect wires (5) to the temperature switch.
Connect the hose assembly to the torque converter outlet relief valve (4) .
Position support (3) and install bolts (1) .
Position the brake control linkage on the lever. Install pin (2) and the cotter pin in order to hold pin (2) in place.
Connect rod end (6) to the steering clutch and brake control valve.End By:
Install the equipment pump. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Equipment Pump - Remove".
Install the power train oil pump. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Power Train Oil Pump - Install".
Install the drive shaft. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Main Drive Shaft - Remove and Install".
