Operate the engine at low idle when checking transmission oil levels.
Stop the engine and add oil if the transmission level is low.
1. Maintain transmission oil level between ADD and FULL marks on the dipstick. 2. Check the air filter indicator. If the red band in the indicator is visible, have the engine air filter elements serviced. 3. Check the engine oil level. Maintain the level between the ADD and FULL marks on the ENGINE RUNNING side of the dipstick.Warm-Up
Engine oil level need not be checked, if it was checked before starting. Between shifts, always check the level with the engine running, if the engine is not to be stopped.1. Operate the engine at low idle until the hydraulic oil is warm.2. Test the hydraulic controls and allow extra warm-up time if they are sluggish.
