5T9967 Shut-Off Group
(1) Remove two bolts (1) from cover (2). Fasten 5T9956 Plate (3) on cover (2), where bolts (1) were removed, using T65 and 7G3425 Bolts. The top of plate (3) must be toward the rear of the machine as shown. (2) Put 5T7453 Cable Assembly (4) through 5T7454 Plate (5). Install plate (5) on 6G5326 Cable Assembly (6) with two 9S8748 Nuts and 5P537 Washers. Plate (5) should be in the center of the thread adjustment on cable assembly (6). Connect cable (4) to 5T18 Lever (7) with 310215 Bolt (8), 4D2303 Washer and 2V8410 Spacer. (3) Turn lever (7) so cable (4) and the bolt will be toward the fuel injection pump housing. Install lever (7) and a 2H3738 Bolt on shaft (9). Lever (7) must be in the vertical position. Remove two bolts (10) from the fuel injection pump housing. Install 6K1898 Spring (11) in lever (7) with the end of the spring hook toward the injection pump housing. Connect spring (11) to 5T9957 Plate Assembly (12). Use 343557 and 315085 Bolts to fasten plate (12) to the injection pump housing where bolts (10) were removed. Put cable assembly (4) above cable assembly (6), and put cable assembly (6) in plate (3). Tighten the nuts that hold cable (6) in plate (3). The plate should be near the center of adjustment on the cable. (4) Put cable assembly (6) in position along the rear and down the right side of the radiator. Remove the radiator grill, and put the cable under the radiator and out to the left side of the machine. Fasten cable (6) to existing bolts on the fan shroud with 1F7567 Clips (13). (5) Make a 37.0 mmØ (1.45"Ø) hole (A) through the left side of the radiator guard at the location shown. Make two 14.0 mmØ (.54"Ø) holes (B) at the locations shown. If the machine is equipped with radiator core center stiffening mounts, make 37.0 mmØ (1.45"Ø) hole (C) at the location shown. Make 14.0 mm (.54"Ø) hole (D) as shown. Put a 6V7960 Film on each machine at location (X). (6) Install 5T2714 Plate (14) on 5T2711 Bracket (15) with 7P8288 Spring (16), 1A8827 Pin (17) and a 3B4615 Cotter Pin as shown. Fasten bracket (15) to the radiator guard with two 5K9107 Bolts, 5M2894 Washers and 1F750 Nuts (18). Put a fireproof blanket over the radiator core for protection from hot weld particles; tack weld nuts (18) to the radiator guard. Put cable (6) through bracket (15) and install the locknuts. Install knob (19). (7) Adjust nuts (20) on cable (6) as necessary so lever (7) goes to the fuel off position when knob (19) is pulled.5T7166 Shut-Off Group
(1) Remove three bolts from the top of the governor. Put 7S6369 Washer (1) under 6G9941 Bracket Assembly (2) and install 1D4541 Bolt (3). Install two 2A4781 Bolts (4). Install a 1B8704 Key in the governor control shaft and install 6G9940 Lever Assembly (5) on the shaft with a
