Accumulated grease and oil on a work tool is a fire hazard.Remove debris with steam cleaning or high pressure water at any time a significant quantity of oil is spilled on the work tool.
Note: Watch closely for leaks. If a leak is observed, find the source of the leak and correct the leak. If a leak is suspected or a leak is observed, check the fluid levels of the host machine more frequently.

Inspect the broom (2) for uneven wear or for excessive wear. Replace the bristles, if necessary.
Inspect the chains (8) for damage or for excessive wear. Replace any damaged chains or any worn chains.
Inspect the motors (1) for leaks. Correct any leaks.
Inspect the hydraulic system (4) for leaks. Repair any hydraulic system leaks. Inspect the hoses, the seals, and the flanges.
Make sure that the skirts (6) are secured to the broom housing. Tighten any loose bolts. Replace missing bolts.
Inspect the cutting edge of the bucket (7) for wear and for damage. Check the cutting edge for missing bolts or for worn bolts. Replace the cutting edge, if necessary. Replace any missing bolts or any worn bolts.
Inspect the mounting bracket (3) for any wear or for any damage. Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Frame Mounting Bracket - Inspect".
Inspect the gutter brush (5). Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Gutter Brush - Inspect/Replace".
