Covers shown installed on the radiator compartment door (1) 375-5686 Cover (2) 375-5687 Cover
Clean the surface of the radiator compartment door, and the side of the cover that comes in contact with the door.Note: Foreign material between the magnetic cover and the door may cause the cover to lose contact with the door and dislodge.
Clean and secure the footholds before installing the covers. Technician safety is a concern in extreme temperatures.
Install 375-5686 Cover (1) to the upper section of the door. Refer to Illustration 1.
Install 375-5687 Cover (2) to the lower section of the door. Refer to Illustration 1.Cover Storage
When the ambient temperature is above −15° C (5° F), remove the covers from the door. Roll up the covers, and store the covers in the toolbox.Note: The cover becomes stiff and hard to manipulate when the ambient temperature is below −30° C (−22° F). Avoid folding the cover at this temperature because the cover can be damaged. Warm the rolled cover to above −20° C (−4° F) before unrolling and installing the cover on the door.Machine Shipping
