Open access panel (14) on the right side of the machine.
Assemble two sets of Tool (A) through Tool (E) .

Connect one Tool (A) to port "M1" (15) .

Connect second Tool (A) to port "M2" (16) .
Assemble Tool (F) .
Assemble Tool (G) .
Connect Tool (F) to Tool (G) .

Remove the cap from charge pressure tap (17) on the left propel pump. Connect Tool (F) to the pressure tap.
Move engine start switch (10) to the START position. Release the engine start switch when the engine starts.
Operate the engine at low idle for a few minutes.
Move throttle control switch (9) to the HIGH IDLE position twice. For each switch activation, hold the switch in this position for less than 1 second. The engine speed should increase to 2200 rpm.

Monitor the hydraulic oil temperature on the operator display. Operate the machine until the oil temperature reaches 43 5.6 °C (110 10 °F).
Move propel mode switch (3) to the TRAVEL position.
Personal injury or death can result from sudden machine movement.Sudden movement of the machine can cause injury to persons on or near the machine.To prevent injury or death, make sure that the area around the machine is clear of personnel and obstructions before operating the machine.
Note: The propel mode switch must be in the TRAVEL position during this test. If the propel mode switch is in the PAVE position, the machine may drive through the parking brake. If the machine moves at any time during this test, immediately move the speed dial back to the MINIMUM position. Stop the machine and repair the parking brakes before this test is continued and/or before the machine is placed back in service.
Move parking brake switch (2) to the OFF position.Note: The parking brake switch on the inactive operator station must also be in the OFF position.
Rotate speed dial (4) to 50 percent of the MAXIMUM position.

Squeeze trigger (18) , and move propel lever (1) to the FULL FORWARD position.
Record the pressure at port "M1" (15) .
Record the pressure at charge pressure tap (17) . Note: This pressure should be 2700 175 kPa (392 25 psi). If this pressure is outside specification, charge pressure must be adjusted by performing Systems Operation, Testing and Adjusting, "Relief Valve (Charge) - Test and Adjust (Left Pump)".
Subtract the pressure that was recorded in Step 33 from the pressure that was recorded in Step 32. The pressure differential should be 42000 1400 kPa (6090 200 psi).
Move propel lever (1) back to the NEUTRAL position.
Squeeze trigger (18) , and move propel lever (1) to the FULL REVERSE position.
Record the pressure at port "M2" (16) .
Record the pressure at charge pressure tap (17) .
Move propel lever (1) to the NEUTRAL position.
Subtract the pressure that was recorded in Step 38 from the pressure that was recorded in Step 37. The pressure differential should be 42000 1400 kPa (6090 200 psi).
Move speed dial (4) back to the MINIMUM position.
