Loosen clamp (29) .Note: Clamp (29) is behind cover (26). Position hose (28) out of the way, while you remove the main control valve.

Disconnect hose assembly (30) .

Disconnect clip (31).

Disconnect four hoses (33) .
Remove four bolts (34) from tube (32) .Note: Tube (32) will be free from the main control valve when the tube is disconnected in Steps 27 and 29.

Disconnect electrical connector (35).
Disconnect twelve electrical connections (36) .
Remove the washers and three bolts (37) from the clips.
Remove four bolts (38). Remove the clamps that hold the tube assemblies.
Remove four bolts (39) for the upper tube assembly.
Remove four bolts (40) for the lower tube assembly.Note: After you remove the four bolts (40) you must support tube (32) .

Disconnect two electrical connections (41) .

Disconnect hose (42) from the left swing motor.

Remove the washers, four bolts (43), and clamp (44) that holds the hydraulic return line.

Remove the washers and two bolts (45) from the U-bolt (46) that secures the tube assembly.

Remove three mounting bolts (47). Remove plate (48) that supports the front lines. Repeat the same step for the other support plate.

Remove the four mounting bolts (49), the washers, the four nut assemblies, and four plates (50) that hold the main control valve in position.Note: The four nut assemblies will fall to the frame when the mount bolts are removed.

Remove bolt (51) .
Remove eight bolts (52) that connect the main pump lines to the main control valve.

Fasten lifting straps and a hoist to main control valve (53) .Note: Make sure that all of the hose assemblies, tube assemblies, and electrical connections have been disconnected prior to removal of the main control valve from the machine.
Carefully remove main control valve (53) from the machine. The weight of the main control valve is approximately 725 kg (1600 lb).
