At operating temperature, the hydraulic oil tank is hot and under pressure. Hot oil can cause burns. Remove the fill plug only when the engine is stopped, and the fill plug is cool enough to touch with your bare hand.
1. Release the pressure in the hydraulic system by slowly loosening the fill plug located on top of the hydraulic oil tank. 2. Remove wiring harness (1) from the clip. Disconnect wiring harness (1).3. Remove four socket head screws (2) and pressure reducing valve (3) from the pilot manifold. Install the pressure reducing valve in the reverse order or removal.4. Check the oil level in the hydraulic oil tank. Fill the hydraulic oil tank to the correct level. Start By:a. remove pressure reducing valve1. Be sure the outside of the pressure reducing valve is clean and free of dirt and debris prior to disassembly. 2. Separate cover (2) from the solenoid assembly.3. Remove four socket head bolts (1). Remove cover (2) from solenoid (6). Remove o-ring seal (3) from the cover. Remove o-ring seal (7) from the solenoid body.4. Remove nut (4) and spring (5) from solenoid body (6).5. Remove o-ring seal (9) from the solenoid body. Remove the valve assembly from the solenoid body.6. Remove o-ring seals (15), (17) and (18) from the valve assembly. Remove ring (14), washer (13), spring (12) and washer (11) from the valve assembly. Remove piston (10) from guide (16). Remove o-ring seal (8) from the solenoid body. Assemble the pressure reducing valve in the reverse order of disassembly. Prior to assembling the pressure reducing valve, be sure all parts are clean and free of dirt and debris. Put clean hydraulic oil on the internal parts of the valve. Also, check the condition of the o-ring seals.
