A - Loctite C5-A Copper Anti-Seize - Start By:
Remove the right side engine enclosure.
Drain the coolant. Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Cooling System Coolant (ELC) - Change" for the correct draining and filling procedures.

Disconnect hoses (4) and tube assemblies (5).
Either remove or position the exhaust elbow (6) out of the way. Refer to REHS5014 - Special Instruction, "Reuse Guideline for the Flexible Exhaust Pipe Group on Tier 4 Engines".
Disconnect hose assembly (3).
Remove nuts (1) and turbocharger (2). Discard nuts (1) and remove the gasket.
Illustration 2 g03607877Note: Band clamps (6), (7), and (8) are only to be used one time. Discard the clamp assemblies if the clamps are loosened.
Remove band clamp (6) in order to separate the adaptor from the turbine housing. Discard band clamp (6).
Remove band clamp (7) in order to separate the turbine housing from the cartridge assembly. Discard band clamp (7).
Remove band clamp (8) in order to separate the compressor housing from the cartridge assembly. Discard band clamp (8). Installation Procedure
Install turbocharger (2) in the reverse order of removal.
Install new band clamp (7). Tighten band clamp (7) to a torque of 18 N m (159 lb in). Loosen band clamp (7) and retighten the clamp to a torque of 13.6 1.2 N m (120 11 lb in).
Install new band clamp (8). Tighten band clamp (8) to a torque of 13.6 1.2 N m (120 11 lb in).
Install new band clamp (6). Tighten band clamp (6) to a torque of 12 4 N m (106 35 lb in).
Apply Tooling (A) to the threads of new nuts (1) prior to installation.
Tighten nuts (1) to a torque of 70 5 N m (52 4 lb ft).
Put clean engine oil in the oil inlet of the turbocharger after assembly or before installation. This action will provide lubrication during start-up and during storage.
