Personal injury can result from hydraulic oil pressure and hot oil.Hydraulic oil pressure can remain in the hydraulic system after the engine has been stopped. Serious injury can be caused if this pressure is not released before any service is done on the hydraulic system.Make sure all of the attachments have been lowered, oil is cool before removing any components or lines. Remove the oil filler cap only when the engine is stopped, and the filler cap is cool enough to touch with your bare hand.
Release the hydraulic system pressure. Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, "System Pressure - Release".
Drain the hydraulic tank into a suitable container for storage or disposal. Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Hydraulic Tank Oil - Change - Hoist and Brake System"
Drain the engine coolant into a suitable container for storage or disposal. Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Cooling System Coolant (ELC) - Change".

Remove clamps (6). Disconnect hose assembly (7). Remove tube assembly (5).

Note: Place an orientation mark on oil cooler (14) for installation purpose.
Attach a suitable lifting device onto oil cooler (14). The weight of oil cooler (14) is approximately 178 kg (393 lb).
Remove bolts (15) and the spacers.

Remove bolts (16). Remove oil cooler (14).Installation Procedure
Install oil cooler (14) in the reverse order of removal.

Check the orientation mark on oil cooler (14) marked during removal procedure. Ensure that oil cooler (14) is installed in correct orientation as shown in illustration 12.
