1. Remove floor plates and cross brace (9).2. Remove universal joint (1) for pump drive. Weight of universal joint is 65 lb. (29.5 kg).3. Disconnect outlet line (2) and inlet line from pilot pump.4. Disconnect inlet and outlet lines from transmission pump the location of which is on right side of pump drive toward the engine.5. Disconnect breather line (4) from pump drive.6. Disconnect inlet line (6) and outlet line (8) from the right and left implement pumps.7. Disconnect outlet lines (5) and (7) and inlet line from the brake and steering pump.8. Disconnect pump drive return line with location under right implement pump. 9. Fasten a hoist to the pump drive, with a second small hoist to make it level. Remove bolts (3) from the mounts. Remove the pump drive (10). Weight is 350 lb. (159 kg).Install Pump Drive
1. Fasten a hoist and put the pump drive in a position in machine. Install bolts in the mounts.2. Connect pump drive return line in location under right implement pump. 3. Connect outlet lines (2) and inlet line to the brake and steering pump.4. Connect inlet and outlet lines (3) to each of the implement pumps.5. Connect breather line (5) to pump drive.6. Connect inlet and outlet lines (1) to transmission pump.7. Connect inlet line (4) to pilot pump. 8. Install universal joint (6) for pump drive.9. Connect outlet line (7) for pilot pump.10. Install cross brace and floor plates.Disassemble Pump Drive
start by: a) remove pump drive 1. Remove input yoke (1) from pinion gear. 2. Remove the six bolts that hold bearing cage (2) to the cover. Install two 3/8"-16NC forcing screws and remove the bearing cage and shims (3). 3. Remove the bearing cup (4) from cage with tooling (A). Remove lip seal and O-ring from cage (2). 4. Remove the six bolts that hold center bearing cage to the cover. Install two 3/8"-16NC forcing screws and remove the bearing cage (5) and shims.5. Remove the six bolts that hold bearing cage (6) to the cover. Install two 3/8"-16NC forcing screws and remove cover and shims.6. Remove the bearing cup from cage with tooling (A). Remove O-ring from cage. 7. Remove bearing cup from center cage (5) with tooling (A). Remove O-ring, outer and inner lip seals (7) from the center cage. 8. Remove bolts from cover and install two 3/8"-16NC forged eyebolts. Fasten a hoist and remove cover (8). Weight of cover is 68 lb. (31 kg).9. Remove gears (9), (10) and (11) from the case. 10. Remove the bearing cones from each side of the three gears with tooling (B). 11. Remove the three bearing cups from the case with tooling (C).Assemble Pump Drive
1. Lower the temperature of the three bearing cups (1). Install the cups in the case with tooling (A). 2. Heat bearing cones (3) for the three gears in oil to a maximum temperature of 250°F 121°C). Install the cones on each side of the three gears.3. Install gears (4), (5) and
