1. Activate the parking brake.2. Connect the steering frame lock link. See "Separate & Connect Steering Frame Lock Link" in this module.
At operating temperature, the hydraulic oil tank is hot and under pressure. Hot oil can cause burns. To prevent possible personal injury, release the pressure in the hydraulic system before and hydraulic lines or components are disconnected or removed.
3. Release the pressure in the hydraulic system as follows: a. Shut off the engine.b. Move the control levers through their full travel strokes. This will relieve any pressure that may be present in the pilot system.c. Slowly loosen the air breather cap on the hydraulic oil tank to release the pressure.d. Tighten the air breather cap on the hydraulic oil tank.e. The pressure in the hydraulic system has now been released. Lines and components can now be removed. To release the pressure in the attachment cylinders, carefully loosen the two large plugs near the plugs at the top of the loader frame. When the oil from the loosened plugs stops draining, tighten the two large plugs.
Typical4. Disconnect three tube assemblies (1).
Typical5. Remove four bolts (2) and cover (3).
Typical6. Remove pins (4) and cylinder (5). Lubricate pins (4) with 5P0960 Multipurpose Grease before installation. Install in the reverse order.7. Fill the hydraulic oil tank with oil to the correct level. See the Operation & Maintenance Manual for the correct filling procedure.8. Separate the steering frame lock link. See "Separate & Connect Steering Frame Lock Link" in this module.
