1. Drain the air reservoir system.
Air under pressure can cause personal injury. Close the shutoff valve or drain the air reservoir system before removing or disconnecting any lines.
2. Open the cutter V-belt guards.3. Remove support (5) (not shown in photo) for clearance of the power take-off sheave (6).4. Remove bracket (7) for clearance of the power take-off sheave (6).5. Disconnect hose assembly (1). Plug or cap to prevent contamination.6. Place three forcing bolts into three threaded holes (3).7. Remove six nuts (2).8. Attach a hoist and a strap to sheave (6).9. Use forcing bolts to remove sheave (6) from power take-off (4).10. Remove power take-off sheave (6). The weight of the power take-off sheave is 52 kg (115 lb). For installation of the power take-off sheave, reverse the removal steps.
