Before the assembly procedure, the exterior of the component must be cleaned.Note: The rubber toric and all the surfaces containing the rubber toric must be clean and dry at assembly. Apply a thin film of oil to the contact surfaces to the metal seal rings prior to assembly. Seal rings must be assembled square with the bore and the toric seal must not be bulged or twisted.

User Tooling (A) to install duo-cone seal (11) onto collar (9) .

Install O-ring seals (8) to shaft (4) .
Install collar (9) and roll pin (10) to shaft (4) .

User Tooling (A) to install duo-cone seal (7) onto collar (5) .

User Tooling (A) to install duo-cone seal (11) to both ends of track roller assembly (1) .

Install shaft (4) into track roller assembly (1) .

Install collar (5) and roll pin (2) to shaft (4) .
Add 180 20 mL (6 0.7 oz) of 8C-3698 Oil to track roller assembly (1) .
Install plug (3). Tighten plug (3) to a torque of 15 3 N m (133 27 lb in).
