Remove the screed. Refer toDisassembly and Assembly, "Screed - Remove and Install".

Remove bolts, the washers, and side access door (1).

Attach a suitable lifting device to tow arm (2). The weight of tow arm (2) is approximately 181 kg (400 lb).

Remove the cotter pin and pin assembly (3) in order to separate the hydraulic cylinder from tow arm (2).

Personal injury can result from being struck by parts propelled by a released spring force.Make sure to wear all necessary protective equipment.Follow the recommended procedure and use all recommended tooling to release the spring force.
Use Tool (A) in order to remove the retaining ring.
Remove the washer, pin assembly (4), and tow arm (2). Installation Procedure
