(A) Approximate length is 25 cm (9.8 inch)Troubleshooting Procedure for Primary Software/Machine Control #1
Perform the following troubleshooting procedure if primary software/machine control #1 flash fails:Note: After first flash fails, ECM displays an unprogrammed module with S/N XXXXXXXXYP.
Check the laptop communication leads and USB ports are in proper order and proper condition.
Flash the software for two times.
Disconnect the devices from the CAN BUS in the following order:Note: Reflash once a device is removed. Complete the action step by step will identify which device is causing the flash interruption.
Disconnect the MSS Keypad - 12-pin connector inside fuse panel (Harness tied up top left-hand corner).
Remove the Engine ECM fuse from the fuse panel.Note: Engine ECM (HRC Only).
Disconnect the 4-pin connector from the actuator harness.Note: Throttle actuator (LRC/FLEX Z prefix only).
Disconnect the Product Link.
Remove the connector from back of the keypad in fuse panel.
Remove the gauge cluster and disconnect the 28-pin plug on back of the unit.
Remove the 6-pin connector from joystick(s) harness in the fuse panel.
If the reflash is successful, download the PSR for reference.
If machine does not reflash, Proceed to Section "Troubleshooting Procedure for Secondary Software/Machine Control #2" Step 11.Troubleshooting Procedure for Secondary Software/Machine Control #2
Perform the following troubleshooting procedure if secondary software/machine control #2 flash fails:Note: After first flash fails, ECM displays an unprogrammed module with S/N XXXXXXXXYP.
Check the laptop communication leads and USB ports are in proper order and proper condition.
See the attached Dealer manufactured tool (Manufacture service tool).
