Position front axle assembly (11) under the front loader frame.
Attach Tooling (C) on both ends of front axle assembly (11) .
Attach Tooling (B) and a suitable lifting device to Tooling (C). The weight of front axle assembly (11) is approximately 6709 kg (14790 lb).

Coat dowels (13) with Tooling (D) .
Slowly raise front axle assembly (11). Make sure that dowels (13) are aligned with the holes in the front loader frame.
Install nuts (12) and the bolts that secure front axle assembly (11) to the front loader frame. Tighten the bolts to a torque of 1800 200 N m (1330 150 lb ft).

Connect tube assemblies (9) to both service brakes.
Install guard assembly (10) on both ends of the front axle assembly.

Connect tube assembly (8) .

Connect hose assembly (8). Install the O-ring seal and sensor (7). Tighten sensor (7) to a torque of 20 5 N m (177 44 lb in). Connect harness assembly (5) .

Align drive shaft (1) with yoke (3) .
Install bolts (2). Tighten bolts (2) to a torque of 530 70 N m (390 52 lb ft). Refer to Illustration 18 for the correct tightening sequence.

Remove Tooling (A) from drive shaft (1) .
Fill the front axle housing and the final drive assemblies with oil. Refer to the Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Differential and Final Drive Oil - Change".
Purge the air from the front service brakes. Refer to Testing and Adjusting, "Brake System Air - Purge".
Check the oil level of the hydraulic tank for the steering system and for the braking system. Refer to the Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Hydraulic System Oil Level (Steering and Brake) - Check".End By: Install the front tires and the rims.
