Install the new U-cup seals (1) into head (C) and head (H). Install the new U-cup seals (1) so that the circular notch is down into the bore of both heads. Install the new U-cup seals (1) evenly into the bore of the heads by pressing around the edge of the U-cup seals. Note: Lightly lubricate all seals before assembly.

Reinstall wiper seals (L) and retainers (K) into head (C) and head (H) .Note: Lightly lubricate all seals before assembly.Note: The lip for wiper seals (L) should be facing upward. Seat retainers (K) evenly into both head bores by pressing around the edge of retainers (K) .

Install ring (J) into the groove of head (C) and head (H) .

Slide head (H) onto rod (G) .

Insert the threaded end of rod (G) into piston (F) .

Insert the chamfered end of rod (E) into piston (F) .

Securely tighten rod (E) and rod (G) to piston (F) .Note: Tighten rod (E) and rod (G) to 70 15 N m (52 11 lb ft).

Slide tube (D) over rod (E) and onto the seal on head (H) .

Slide head (C) down rod (E) and push the seal end of head (C) into tube (D) .

Install bolts (B) through head (H) at the end of the cylinder and into head (C) .Note: Assemble the cylinder with both purging screws in the same direction.Note: Tighten bolts (B) to 47 9 N m (35 7 lb ft).

Reinstall two plugs (A) .
Reinstall the fully assembled servo cylinder. Refer to the appropriate Disassembly and Assembly, "Servo Steering Cylinder - Remove and Install" manual for instructions on reinstalling the servo steering cylinder.
