Personal injury can result from hydraulic oil pressure and hot oil.Hydraulic oil pressure can remain in the hydraulic system after the engine has been stopped. Serious injury can be caused if this pressure is not released before any service is done on the hydraulic system.Make sure all of the work tools have been lowered to the ground, and the oil is cool before removing any components or lines. Remove the oil filler cap only when the engine is stopped, and the filler cap is cool enough to touch with your bare hand.
Machine Preparation
Park the machine on a smooth, level surface. The location should also be dry and free of debris. Stop the engine.
Permit only one operator on the machine. All other personnel should be kept away from the machine.
Lower the blade to the ground.
Engage the parking brake.
Stop the engine.
Depress the brake pedal repeatedly. This will relieve any pressure that may be present in the braking system.
Move the control levers through the full range of travel. This will relieve any pressure that may be present in the implement hydraulic system.
Turn the steering controls several times in both directions in order to relieve the pressure in the steering system.
In order to relieve all of the pressure in the hydraulic oil tank, slowly remove the hydraulic tank cap.
Make sure that all oil pressure is released before beginning any work on the hydraulic system.

Install test gauge hose (A) on pressure tap (2) and connect test gauge (B) to test gauge hose (A) .Testing and Adjusting Procedure
Start the machine.
Increase the engine speed to high idle.
Observe the pressure reading from test gauge (B). Refer to Table 2 for the correct pressure settings.
Table 2
Cutoff Pressure
Standard
10500 350 kPa (1520 50 psi)
High Ambient fan
13400 350 kPa (1940 50 psi)
If the cutoff pressure is correct proceed to Step 11. If the cutoff pressure is not correct proceed to the following step for instructions to adjust the cutoff pressure.
