Use a suitable lifting device in order to position blade (5) on the circle. The weight of blade (5) is approximately 1400 kg (3086 lb).
Push the blade into position.

Install wear strips (7) and shims (6). Add shims or remove shims in order to obtain a clearance of 0.13 to 0.90 mm (.005 to .035 inch) between the rails and wear strips (7). In order to achieve the minimum clearance, move the moldboard through the full range. Divide shims (6) equally between the top wear strips and the bottom wear strips.

Install plates (1) and the bolts (2) on the upper rail of the blade and on the lower rail of the blade. Repeat Step 4 on the opposite side.
Install pin assembly (4) in bracket (3). Repeat Step 5 on the opposite side.
Raise the blade and remove the block from the circle assembly. Repeat Step 6 for circle assembly on the opposite side.
