Personal injury can result from being struck by parts propelled by a released spring force.Make sure to wear all necessary protective equipment.Follow the recommended procedure and use all recommended tooling to release the spring force.
Note: To release piston rod (45) from the swashplate, lift the swashplate a little and move the piston rod sideways.
Remove piston rod (45).

Remove bearings (48).

Remove shaft assembly (49).

Remove retaining ring (50).
Use Tooling (A) to remove seal (51).

Remove two plugs (52) from pump body (27). Inspect the O-ring seals on the plugs. Replace the O-ring seals, if necessary.

Remove bearing cup (53) from pump body (27).

Use Tooling (A) and a suitable press to install bearing (5) into flange (4).

Install the O-ring seal, flange (4), and bolt (3) onto the piston pump.

Install gear (2) and nut (1). Tighten nut (1) to a toque of 200 40 N m (148 30 lb ft).End By:
