Install 5H-7826 Pipe Nipple (72) and coupling (31) into bearing retainer (28) as shown in Illustration 180. Install two elbows (46) and O-Ring seals (47) .

Install the two connectors (48), O-Ring seals (47), lubrication adapters (49), nuts (50), and grease fittings (51) similar to Steps 34.b and 34.c. Refer to Illustration 181 and 182.

Creation of hose assemblies (C) and (D)
If not already done, create 388-8840 Hose As (C) using two permanent couplings (53) and 25 cm (10 inch) of hose (55). Refer to Illustration 183.
If not already done, create 388-8841 Hose As (D) using two permanent couplings (53) and 20 cm (8 inch) of hose (55). Refer to Illustration 183.
Attach the two hose assemblies (C) and (D) as shown in Illustration 183, leaving the end near the shaft loose.

Clipping of hose assemblies (C) and (D)
Use two clips (63) and a bolt (58), 8T-4133 Nut (73), lockwasher (60) and two hard washers (59) to connect hose assemblies (C) and (D) together to prevent movement. Tighten hardware to 30 7 N m (22 5 lb ft). Refer to Illustration 184.

Installation of conduit onto the endbell.
Attach the conduit to the endbell using two clips (18) with two bolts (19) and lockwashers (20). Tighten hardware to 12 3 N m (8.85072 2.21268 lb ft). Refer to Illustration 185.
Using a flat blade screwdriver in the slot, install the RTD bayonet adapter into the bearing hub. Insert the RTD probe and install by pushing down the knurled cap and turning clockwise.
Attach the conduit bracket using two screws (65) and lockwashers (66) .

Fill the four hose assemblies (A), (B), (C), and (D), with bearing lubrication (TU). The couplings near the shaft must be loose during this process so grease can be seen purging out. Refer to Illustration 186 and 187.
Tighten all couplings and fittings. Clean excess grease off.
Put five additional pumps of bearing lubrication (TU) in each of the four hose assemblies (A), (B), (C), and (D). Check for leaks.
Install exhaust cover on the non-drive end, using the lifting hole located at the top of the cover. Use 12 bolts (38), lockwashers (39), and hard washers (34) to fasten the cover on. Tighten to 25 6 N m (18 4 lb ft).
