Procedure To Install And Adjust Linkage
a. Rotate governor output shaft (11) to the open position.b. Install governor control lever at the angle (9) shown.c. Install remaining levers and keys on the shafts.d. Adjust the upper linkage (6) and lower linkage (8) to the correct lengths and install.e. With both the throttle plate and governor shaft held in the fully open position, adjust linkage (7) to fit between the levers and install.f. Rotate linkage so the throttle is in the closed position. Adjust the throttle stop screw to contact pin the throttle body to minimize plate to bore gap. Insure the gap is large enough to avoid wedging the throttle plate in the bore during engine operation.
