Keep all parts clean from contaminants.Contaminants may cause rapid wear and shortened component life.

Use a suitable press to install the shaft and the bearing into pulley (4). Install the shaft until the shaft is flush with the end of pulley (4) .
Use a suitable press to install the shaft, the bearing, and pulley (4) as a unit into water pump housing (3). The distance between the front of pulley (4) and the machined surface of water pump housing (3) must be 103.8 0.3 mm (4.09 0.01 inch).
Use Tooling (B) to install seal (5) in water pump housing (3) .
Use a suitable press to install impeller (2) on the shaft of the water pump. Install the impeller until the distance between the impeller and the machined surface of the water pump is 0.75 0.25 mm (0.030 0.010 inch).

Install a new gasket and cover (1) .End By: Install the water pump. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Water Pump - Install".
