Oil flow to the steering cylinders comes from the steering valve on the lower control valve.The steering cylinders generate linear movement to the left or to the right. This movement is transmitted from piston rods (5) to, steering knuckle (2), tie rod (4), final drive (1) and the wheels.The steering cylinders are single acting cylinders with separate piston rods (5). The pistons have faces of equal size. When the steering cylinders are centered, the piston rods extend equally on both ends. This results in equal working areas in the chamber of the cylinders. The steering cylinders are balanced by pressure. Equal forces are available in both actuating directions and equal steering angles to the left and right.
