Lightly lubricate the shaft splines (R) with 2S-3230 Bearing Lubricant or with similar equivalent.

Install the 390-2042 Drive Hub onto the retained 283-6705 Output Shaft (L) .

Install the retained 1S-7408 O-Ring Seal (K) on the end of the shaft.

Install the retained 143-6120 Plate (H) and the 8T-0070 Bolt (J) in the same location from where they are removed. Tighten the bolt to 530 70 N m (391 52 lb ft).Installation of New Flexible Coupling (Inner member)

Install the new 395-4219 Flexible Coupling (star-hub) (1) inner member.

Install the retained 219-4481 Bolts (E) and 5P-8249 Hard Washers (F) to retain the flexible coupling (1) onto the new 390-2042 Drive Hub . Tighten the bolts to 620 80 N m (457 59 lb ft) in a star pattern. The new 396-3241 Coupler Adapter Gp is now assembled.Assembly of New Flexible Coupling Group (Outer member) onto the Flywheel

Use one of the two threaded holes to attach a lifting bracket onto the flexible coupling group.
Assemble the 395-4220 Flexible Coupling Gp (outer member) (4) to the flywheel (S) with the help of the guide rods and pin.
Bolt the outer flexible coupling group to the flywheel using 12 8T-4193 Bolts (2) and 12 3E-4356 Hard Washers (3). Tighten the bolts to 240 40 N m (177 30 lb ft) in a star pattern.Assembly of the Coupler Adapter Group to the Flywheel Housing

Apply 5N-5561 Silicone Lubricant on the flexible coupling (star-hub) flanges (T) on the coupler adapter group to aid in assembly.

Assemble the new 396-3241 Coupler Adapter Gp to the flywheel housing (U) with the help of guide rods and pins. Refer Disassembly and Assembly, KENR8715, "Coupler Adapter and Mounting - Install" to install the coupler adapter group onto the flywheel housing.
Align the inner flexible coupling (star-hub) to the outer flexible coupling group and push the two halves together.
Bolt the coupler adapter group housing to the flywheel housing using 16 8T-4194 Bolts (5) and 16 039-8557 Washers (6). Tighten the bolts to 100 20 N m (74 15 lb ft) in a star pattern.
