Remove the quick coupler. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Quick Coupler - Remove and Install".

Attach two nylon lifting straps and a suitable lifting device to the tilt link. The weight of the tilt link is 43 kg (95 lb).
Remove two bolts (1) and washers. Move the bracket and the hydraulic hose assemblies (2) aside.
Repeat step 2 for the opposite side of the tilt link.

Remove pin (3) .

Use Tool (A) to remove the snap ring and the washer (4). Remove pin (5) .
Repeat step 5 for the opposite side of the tilt link.
Remove the tilt link. The weight of the tilt link is 43 kg (95 lb).

The following steps are used to prepare the press fit bearing for removal.
Use a 3 mm (0.125 inch) low hydrogen welding rod.
Weld a continuous bead around the inside 38 mm (1.5 inch) from each end of the bearing. The bead should be uniform around the inside diameter of the bearing.
Allow the bearing to cool before removing.

Install Tool (B) and remove bearing (6) from the tilt link.
Repeat step 9 for the other side of the tilt link.Installation Procedure

Lower the temperature of bearing (6). Install new bearing (6) and press into position using Tooling (C) .
Repeat step 1 for the other side of the tilt link.

Attach two nylon straps and a suitable lifting device to the tilt link.
Place the tilt link into position. The weight of the tilt link is 43 kg (95 lb).
Install pin (5). Use Tool (A) to install the washer and the snap ring (4) .
Repeat step 5 on the opposite side of the tilt link.

Install pin (3) .

Place hydraulic hose assemblies and brackets (2) into position. Install washers and two bolts (1) .End By: Install the quick coupler. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Quick Coupler - Remove and Install".
