1. Remove four bolts and lockwashers (1).2. Remove two hydraulic oil lines (2). 3. Remove two bolts and lockwashers (3). Remove two nuts and lockwashers (5).4. Remove scavenge pump (4).Install Flywheel Housing Scavenge Gear Pump
1. Check seals and gaskets for damage. If damaged, use new parts for replacement. 2. Install scavenge pump (1). Install the two lockwashers and bolts. Install the two lockwashers and nuts. 3. Install two hydraulic oil lines (2). Install four lockwashers and bolts (3).end by: a) install exhaust manifold crossover and mufflerb) install turbochargerDisassemble Flywheel Housing Scavenge Gear Pump
start by: a) remove flywheel housing scavenge gear pump 1. Remove snap ring (3), washer (1) and gear (2) from the pump. 2. Remove four bolts and washers (4). Make a separation of the manifold assembly and the cover assembly. Remove the two gears. Remove the O-ring seal from the cover. 3. Remove bearings (5) from the manifold and the cover. 4. Remove lip seal (6) and O-ring seal (7) from the manifold.Assemble Flywheel Housing Scavenge Gear Pump
1. Inspect all seals and bearings. If damaged, use new parts for replacement. Put clean hydraulic oil on the parts. Install O-ring seal (1). 2. Install the lip seal with tool (A) against the counterbore. The lip of the lip seal must be toward the counterbore.3. Install bearings in manifold and cover with tool (A) .062 in. (1.57 mm) below surface. 4. The separation (split) in the bearings must be 30° 15° from the center line to the pressure side of the pump as shown on both the cover (2) and manifold (5). 5. Install O-ring seal (3) in the cover. Install drive gear (4) and idler gear (6) in manifold (5). Install cover (2) on the manifold and install four washers and bolts. 6. Turn the gear pump as shown. Install gear (9), washer (8) and snap ring (7). Pump must turn freely by hand.end by: a) install flywheel housing scavenge gear pump
