Use a bolt and the four spacers (G) in order to move the mufflers up and down. Loosen the eight bolts (H) in order to move the mufflers forward and backward. The four spacers (G), and eight bolts (H) are accessed from below the muffler platform.
Illustration 5 g03869161
Loosen four bolts (J) in order to move the mufflers left and right.
Illustration 6 g03869564
If the mufflers are moved, loosen four bolts (K), and two bolts (M) in order to move plates (L) so the bracket assemblies (N) can be moved to support the mufflers.
Refer to Illustration 1. Remove bellows (D), and the heat shields (if equipped). Discard the bellows. Position upper band clamp (C) so the band clamp is out of the way.Note: If the heat shields show sign of damage, discard the heat shields.

Install the bellows assembly (1) with tooling installed between pipe (P) and elbow (R) and tighten lower band clamp (2) to 16 4 N m (141 35 lb in).
Alignment tool must remain assembled during the assembly of the bellow. Surrounding components may need to be moved or adjusted to allow the bellow to be installed. Failure to leave assembled may allow for misalignment of the bellow and possibly shorten the life of the bellow.
Adjust all of the connections that were loosened in Step 1, Step 2, Step 3, Step 4, and Step 5 in the exhaust system so that the exhaust pipes align with the mufflers. The V-clamp must be able to slide from the muffler onto the exhaust pipes.Note: During all of the adjustments, ensure that the entire circumference of the exhaust pipe is seated against the flange of the bellow assembly.
Slide the upper V-clamp from the muffler onto the exhaust pipes, tighten upper clamps to 16 4 N m (141 35 lb in). Tap clamp lightly all around and re-tighten to 16 4 N m (141 35 lb in).Note: Remember to tighten the bolts that secure the platform. Then, tighten the bolts that secure the mufflers to the platform.

Remove alignment tool from bellow assembly (1) by cutting three tie straps (S).Film above illustrates the removal and recycling of the alignment tool. Film is located on the alignment tool.Note: The tools may be retained and reused or may be recycled.
Failure to remove the alignment tool from the bellow assembly may cause failure of bellow and surrounding components.
