Note: Procedure to be carried out after persistent knocking noise is noticed or bearing/hitch failure. Please document the failure, hitch bore measurements before/after repair, and attach photos of the failed parts to the service claim.
Rework Procedure - Rebuild Lower Hitch Pin:
Refer to Disassembly and Assembly instructions KENR5217 for proper assembly and shimming of Lower Hitch Pin. The updated Disassembly and Assembly instructions must be followed exactly as described to ensure a correct repair. Ensure the three bearing bores are measured even if they do not appear to be damaged and reworked to specification if required.

Note: 23.0 hours are allowed for completion of this Rework Procedure which includes cab removal (if required), disassembly (front and rear frame separate), shimming and assembly of the hitch, assembly (front and rear frame connect), and cab installation (if required). Additionally, a maximum allowance of $800 US Dollars is allowed for re-machining of the frame bores if required.
