The following check must be carried out once a week with the attachment and forks installed.1. Position the machine on firm, level ground with no load on the attachment. Outriggers, if equipped, must be raised. If necessary operate switch (5) until indicator (4) is extinguished and indicator (6) is illuminated.2. Fully retract the boom and position the attachment level with the forks 150 mm (6 in) above the ground. The machine must remain in this position for the following checks.3. All of the visual display LED's (1), (2) and (3) should be either off, or the bottom green LED ONLY, either flickering or on continuously.4. Depress test switch (7) on the display face. All of the LEDs should illuminate, and the audible alarm should sound continuously for as long as the button is pressed.If the system responds as in steps 3. and 4. the system is serviceable.If MORE than one LED is illuminated in step 3., or if the audible alarm is sounding when the LED's are NOT illuminated the system is not serviceable and must have the necessary repairs made.
