Procedure To Select Throttle Pedal
1. After flashing the new software, use Electronic Technician (ET) to change the selectable throttle parameters. You must use ET Version 2.2 or higher.2. Select "Service" from the tool bar. Then select "Configuration".3. Select "Selectable Throttle" from the list. The default value for "Selectable Throttle" is "ZERO".4. To update the value, click the "Change" button. For trucks with the new cab, leave the throttle parameter at "ZERO". For trucks with the original cab, change the "ZERO" to a "ONE". The 777D defaults to the original throttle. If the original throttle is used when the new throttle is selected, the maximum engine speed will be limited. If a new throttle is used when the original throttle is selected, the throttle pedal will appear to be more sensitive, and will reach full throttle with little pedal movement.
