Reference media RENR8286 for the removal, disassembly, assembly, and reinstallation of the secondary steering/brake release pump group.
Replace the pump seals.
Replacement of the supplemental steering lines group should be performed after the removal of the pump group/replacement of the pump seals and prior to reinstallation of the repaired pump group.
Refer to attached rework procedure for replacement of the steering lines.

This procedure to be performed after the removal of the pump gp. and prior to re-assembly of the pump gp. Remove existing tube, hose, fittings and clips from supplemental steering lines gp. See Image 1.1.1 for reference of parts.

Install 148-8357 Elbow Fitting (1) to steering tank with 5K9090, and 7M-8485 O-rings (Image 1.2.1). Install 154-7159 Tee-Fitting (2), 6V-9172 Bulkhead Nut (3), 6V9833 Cap (4) to inside right hand frame rail with 5K-9090 O-rings (Image 1.2.2). Install 324-3323 Tube (5) to elbow fitting (1) and tee-fitting (2) (Image 1.2.1). Install three 7C4354 Clips (8) to tube in previous locations with hardware removed in previous step. Install 324-3805 Hose (6) to tee-fitting (2) (Image 1.2.2). After re-assembly of the pump gp. install 8T6684 Elbow Fitting (7) with 5K9090, and 7M8485 O-rings to pump gp. and connect hose (6) to elbow. (Image 1.2.2)
