1. Remove six bolts (2) and the washers, and remove shield (1).2. Remove two bolts (3) and the washers, and remove shield (4). 3. Loosen clamp (6) and disconnect hose (5).4. Loosen bolt (7) and remove ejector assembly (12).5. Remove clamp (9).
After the removal of the muffler, cover the exhaust elbow of the turbocharger to protect the turbocharger from dirt and debris.
6. Remove two bolts (10). Slide muffler (8) to the right until clear of the turbocharger exhaust elbow and remove the muffler. Weight of the muffler is 21 kg (46 lb). Install the muffler in the reverse order of the removal.
