2. Remove two lower bolts (3) and two upper bolts (1) and ladder (2) from the machine. 3. Remove clip (5), and disconnect wire assembly (4). 4. Remove the bolts, and disconnect tube assemblies (6) and (9) from supplemental steering valve (7).5. Remove bolts (8) that hold brackets (10) and (11) to the frame. 6. Remove the bolts, and disconnect tube assembly (12) from the rear of the supplemental steering valve.7. Remove the bolts, and disconnect hose assembly (14) from the rear of the supplemental steering valve.8. Loosen hose clamp (13), and disconnect tube assembly (15) from rear of the valve.9. Remove bolts (18), and disconnect elbow (16) and hose assembly (17) as a unit from the steering valve. 10. Remove four bolts (19) and supplemental steering valve (7) from the machine.Install Supplemental Steering (Diverter) Valve
1. Clean and inspect the O-ring seals, and make a replacement if any seals are worn or damaged. 2. Put supplemental steering valve (1) in position on the machine, and install the four bolts that hold it in place. 3. Put hose assembly (3) and elbow (4) as a unit in position on the steering valve, and install two bolts (2) that connect it to the valve.4. Put tube assembly (8) in position on the rear of the steering valve, and tighten hose clamp (7).5. Put hose assembly (6) in position on the rear of the steering valve, and install the four bolts that hold it in place.6. Put tube assembly (5) in position on the rear of the steering valve, and install the four bolts that hold it in place. 7. Put tube assemblies (9) and (11) in position on the steering valve, and install the bolts that hold them in place.8. Put brackets (12) and (13) in position on the frame, and install bolts (10) that hold them. 9. Connect wire assembly (14), and install clip (15) that holds the wire assembly together. 10. Put ladder (17) in position on the machine, and install two upper bolts (16) and two lower bolts (18) that hold it in place.11. Fill the hydraulic system to the correct level. START BY:a. remove supplemental steering (Diverter) Valve 1. Remove switch (oil flow) assembly (1) from supplemental steering valve (2).2. Remove plug (3). Remove the O-ring seal from the plug.3. Remove the valve stem assembly behind the plug from the steering valve. 4. Compress spring (5), and remove two retainers (6), spring (5) and two retainers (4) from valve stem (7).
Use care with removing plugs (10) and (11). The plugs hold springs under compression.
5. Remove plugs (10) and (11) from the steering valve. Remove the O-ring seals from the plugs.6. Remove springs (9) and valves (8) behind plugs (10) and (11) from the steering valve. 7. Remove plug (12) from the steering valve. Remove the O-ring seal from
