Remove seals (69).

Use two people in order to reposition reverse clutch housing (57). The weight of the reverse clutch housing is 42 kg (93 lb). Use Tooling (D) to remove snap ring (70).
Remove bearing (71).

Remove O-ring seal (73), seal rings (72), and seal ring (74) from the shaft and the planetary carrier.

Turn over the output shaft, the planetary carriers, and the gears. Position the components on wood blocks, as shown.
Remove O-ring seal (75) from output shaft (67).
Remove seal ring (77) from the planetary carrier.
Remove retaining ring (76) that holds output shaft (67) to the planetary carrier.
Remove output shaft (67) from the input shaft and from the planetary carrier.

Use Tooling (B) to remove retaining ring (78). Remove gear (79) and bearing (80).

Remove bearing (81).

Use Tooling (C) to remove retaining ring (85). Retaining ring (85) holds gear (84) in position on input shaft (83). Remove gear (84).
Use two people in order to remove the planetary carrier from the input shaft. The weight of planetary carrier (82) is approximately 26 kg (57 lb).

Use Tooling (G) to compress retaining ring (86). Remove gear (87) from the planetary carrier.

Remove retaining ring (88). Remove bearing (90) and the gear as a unit from the planetary carrier.
Remove bearing (90) from gear (89).
Use a hammer and a punch to push pin (91) into the planetary gear shafts.

Remove planetary gear shafts (95), gears (92) and (94), and thrust washers (96) from the planetary carrier.
Remove bearings (93) from gears (92) and (94).
Remove pins (91) from planetary gear shafts (95).

Remove planetary carrier (97) from input shaft (83).

Use Tooling (D) to remove retaining ring (98). Remove bearing (99).

Use a hammer and a punch to push pins (100) into the planetary gear shafts.
Remove planetary gear shafts (101), gears (102), and thrust washers (104).
Remove bearings (103) from gears (102).
Remove pins (100) from the planetary gear shafts.

Remove O-ring seal (106). Note: Carrier (105) will be damaged if the carrier is removed.
If necessary, remove carrier (105).
