Information:
Decrease - Move the engine speed lever to this position in order to decrease the engine speed (engine rpm).
Increase - Move the engine speed lever to this position in order to increase the engine speed (engine rpm). Engine Start Switch (11)
To start the engine, be sure to put the hydraulic activation control lever in the LOCKED position. If the lever is in the UNLOCKED position, the engine start switch will not function.
Note: Be sure to put the console for the hydraulic lockout control in the RAISED position when you are starting the engine. The engine will not start if the console for the hydraulic lockout control is in the LOWERED position.
OFF - Insert the engine start switch key only from the OFF position and remove the engine start switch key only from the OFF position. In the OFF position, there is no power to most electrical circuits in the cab. Turn the engine start switch key to the OFF position in order to stop the engine.
ON - Turn the engine start switch key to the ON position. Hold the key in this position in order to activate the glow plugs. The indicator for the glow plugs will light on the instrument panel.
START - Turn the engine start switch key clockwise to the START position in order to crank the engine. Release the engine start switch key after the engine starts and the engine start switch key returns to the ON position. Note: If the engine fails to start, the engine start switch key must be returned to the OFF position in order to attempt to start the engine again.Window Wiper and Washer Control (12)
If the wiper does not operate with the switch in the ON position, turn the switch off immediately. Check the cause. If the switch remains on, motor failure can result.
Machines that are equipped with a cab have a window wiper as standard equipment. The switch that operates the wiper blade and the washer is located on the back of the left console in the cab.
If the washer is used continuously for more than 20 seconds or used when no washer solution comes out, motor failure can result.
Window Wiper Switch and Switch for Window Washer - Turn the switch clockwise in order to turn on the wiper. Turn the switch counterclockwise in order to turn off the wiper. Push in on the switch in order to spray washer fluid on the window. Release the switch in order to stop spraying washer fluid. Travel Speed Control Switch (13)
The travel speed control switch is located on the left side console in the operator station.Use the switch to change the travel speed.
High Speed - Press the top of the switch in order to make the machine travel in high speed.
Low Speed - Press the bottom of the switch in order to return to low speed. Always travel slowly when you are on slopes or rough ground.Air Conditioning and Heating Control (14)
