Remove cab retention bolts (1) from the rear of the cab riser compartment and install the cab retention bolts in the weld nuts (2) .

Screw three M20-2.5 eyebolts (3) into the bosses that are on the falling objects guard.
When the eyebolts are secured, install three properly rated shackles (4) into the eyebolts.Note: The weight of the cab riser is 1530 kg (3370 lb) .

(5) Wire cable
Fasten the lifting device and a properly rated wire cable (5) to the rear shackle (4) .
Slowly operate the lifting device in order to keep the wire cable perpendicular to the cab when the cab is being tilted.Failure to do so can cause an overload to the wire cable resulting in serious injury or death and/or damage to the machine.
Raise the cab with the riser while you move the lifting device in order to keep the wire cable perpendicular to the cab. Perform this operation until the cab begins to tilt by the cab's own weight.

When the cab begins to tilt by the cab's own weight, slowly lower the cab until wire cable (6) is taut.
Remove wire cable (5) from the eyebolt.

Fasten properly rated wire cables (7) from shackles (4) to the trailer in order to prevent vibration during shipment.Note: When the cab is tied down, do not excessively fasten wire cable (7) .Raise
To raise the cab, reverse Steps 1 through 8 .
Install cab retention bolts (1) to a torque of 82 N m (60 lb ft) .Hydraulically Tilt the Cab (If Equipped)
A hydraulic pump that is driven by an electric motor is used to provide hydraulic flow for the cab tilt cylinder.
Do not tilt the cab when occupied. Before tilting the cab remove all loose articles from the cab, secure all windows and emergency exits, and then close the cab and cab riser doors. Failure to do so can result in personal injury or damage to the machine.

Center the lever when the cab is in the desired position, or when the cable is taut.
Turn the battery disconnect switch to the OFF position and remove the disconnect key.Raise
