Measure and enter the horizontal length G-KR which is the center of rotation for a tilt indexator to an intersecting vertical line from point G. This dimension is only for tilt indexator work tools and not for tilt bucket.

Measure and enter the distance between the tilting axis (point K) and the cutting edge. If the tilt axis is level, the vertical length J-K is the perpendicular/vertical distance between the tilt axis and point J on the bucket cutting edge. Refer to Step 14 for instruction to enter the length dimension. Vertical length J-K is a critical for accuracy and should be measured to the nearest 1.00 mm (0.039 inch).

Tilt the bucket to raise the left bucket focus point until the bucket tilt reaches the end of its stroke. Hold the thumbwheel to keep the bucket tilt function activated raising the left tip until the procedure continues.Note: The "Help" button illustrates the left bucket tip being raised by the tilt function.

If the bucket was positioned correctly, then press the "OK" button to complete the calibration. Press the "Back" button to exit the procedure.
The tilting axis should now show a tilting icon in the machine monitor and the cut/fill guidance value will be shown to the focus point of the bucket.TD520 GRADE Display (for 2D Advanced and 3D Configurations)
The TD520 GRADE display does not automatically start up when the machine is started or receives auxiliary power. The TD520 GRADE display will need to be powered up separately after the machine is started or receives auxiliary power. When the TD520 GRADE display is powered up to begin work, watch the start-up sequence of the system to make sure that the display starts up correctly.

Splash screen
When the machine and the display powers up, the first screen that should show-up on the display is the splash screen. If the splash screen does not appear, contact the site supervisor.

Synchronizing screen
The splash screen will transition to the synchronizing screen. As the application loads and the display establish network connectivity, the circular progress bar will be animated in a circular movement clockwise.

Login screen
(1) Login button
When the application and display has completed loading and the network handshake has occurred, the login screen will appear.
Enter the operator identification and password and press the login button (1).

Dashboard
When the login has been accepted, the login screen will transition to the GRADE dashboard. Refer to Illustration 154. If all the dashboard status tiles are black, then the system is configured properly and the "Start" option will be active and available.

Once the "Start" button on the GRADE dashboard is pressed, the system will enter the main runtime screen with both system settings and work settings menu options.Note: The system settings are available in the GRADE dashboard screen.
