Removal Procedure
Cylinders equipped with lock valves can remain pressurized for very long periods of time, even with the hoses removed.Failure to relieve pressure before removing a lock valve or disassembling a cylinder can result in personal injury or death.Ensure all pressure is relieved before removing a lock valve or disassembling a cylinder.

Fully retract the stick cylinder and the bucket cylinder. Position the bucket on the ground.
Release the hydraulic system pressure.

In order to release the hydraulic pressure from load control valve (3), remove cap (1) and loosen fitting (2) (not shown). Remove cap (5).
Mark the position of screw (4). Count the number of turns and turn screw (4) (not shown) counterclockwise until hydraulic oil is released from fitting (2) (not shown). Return screw (4) (not shown) to the original position and install cap (5). Tighten fitting (2) (not shown) and install cap (1).

Disconnect hose assemblies (7) and (8).
Disconnect tube assembly (9).
Remove clamps (6) and remove load control valve (3). Installation Procedure
Install load control valve (3) in the reverse order of removal.
